Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Socially mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Socially is an educational mobile application designed to help users develop and improve their social and interpersonal skills through:

• Interactive lessons and exercises
• AI-powered coaching and feedback
• Progress tracking and gamification
• Daily reflection journaling

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use most features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that is harmful to other users or our service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Upload malicious code or content
• Use the App in any way that could damage our reputation
• Scrape or collect data from the App without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity

Intellectual Property

Our Content

The App, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Socially and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our App without permission.

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create (such as reflections and practice responses). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services.

AI Features Disclaimer

The App includes AI-powered features for educational purposes. You understand that:

• AI responses are generated by machine learning models and may not always be accurate
• AI coaching is not a substitute for professional mental health services
• You should not rely solely on AI feedback for important decisions
• AI features are provided "as is" without guarantees of accuracy

Health and Wellness Disclaimer

Socially is an educational tool, not a medical or mental health service. The App:

• Does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice
• Is not a substitute for professional help
• Should not be used to diagnose or treat any condition

If you are experiencing mental health issues, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use your information.

Subscriptions, Billing and Cancellation

Socially offers an auto-renewing subscription ("Socially Pro") that unlocks the full lesson curriculum and AI coaching features.

Free Trial

New subscribers may be offered a 3-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the trial converts automatically into a paid subscription and the applicable price is charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial period.

Pricing and Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions are offered on a monthly or yearly basis. Current prices are shown in the App before you purchase, and the price displayed at purchase is the price that applies to you. Prices are stated in your local currency where supported and may vary by region and by applicable taxes.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your payment method is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the start of each new period.

How to Cancel

All subscriptions are purchased and managed through your Apple ID. You can cancel at any time from Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iOS device, or via the App Store. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access for the remainder of the period you have already paid for.

Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through your Apple ID as described above.

Payments and Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple, not by us. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, and we cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases directly. To request a refund, contact Apple Support at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. Except where a refund is required by applicable law, payments are otherwise non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partially used periods.

Changes to Pricing

We may change subscription prices. Any price change applies only to future billing periods and we will give you notice as required by the App Store and by applicable law. If you do not agree to a new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The App is free of viruses or harmful components
• The results from using the App will meet your expectations

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SOCIALLY, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the App
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the App
• Any content obtained from the App
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your content

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Socially and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Nothing in these Terms removes any statutory right you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence, including any right to bring a claim in your local courts.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Socially regarding your use of the App.
